Legal documents on display as part of Harlow Council bid over illegal traveller sites

Traveller Docs
These sites include 320 vulnerable sites including parks and playgrounds, previously occupied sites, highway verges, schools and private land identified by Harlow Council and Essex County Council, as well as 134 parcels of land that incorporate cycle tracks.

These are the sites the Councils are seeking to protect from current and future unauthorised traveller encampments.

Council staff have been working hard to place documents on each site as this is a legal requirement for the injunction application.

The documents can be read and viewed by the public and although the Council has taken photos of each document pack on site, it is asking residents to ensure they put them back. The Council is also aware that some may get displaced by weather conditions.

A hearing for an interim injunction takes place next Tuesday 3 March 2015.

A copy of the legal documents can be viewed on the Council’s website at: www.harlow.gov.uk/pr15-26
