THE film opens with a close-up shot of the Harlow crest and the Union flag. A high-angle shot shows the exterior of the school and the arrival of the royal motorcade. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are greeted by local dignitaries, including the Headmaster of the school, Sir Richard Costain, Chairman of the Harlow Development Corporation and Ben Hyde-Harvey, the General Manager.
