Police appeal after savage assault on elderly lady in her Waterhouse Moor home

POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary at a home in Harlow, where the elderly occupant was assaulted.

Two men forced their way into the property in Waterhouse Moor at around 5.10pm on Friday, March 20 and stole various items which have yet to be identified.

The occupant, a woman in her 80s, was assaulted after she challenged the men, causing bruising to her legs.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw two white men, of slim build, aged in their 20s, in the area at the time. One was wearing a red hooded top.
