POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road collision in Harlow.

Just after midnight on Saturday, July 11, a car was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Fourth Avenue at the junction with Haydens Road.

The 20-year-old man from Harlow received a serious injury to his left foot after it was run over by a vehicle described as a green Vauxhall Corsa with white stripes over the roof and bonnet.

This vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information about the vehicle, should contact Pc Paul Marks at Harlow police station on 101.
