Teenager suspected to be part of masked raid on pensioner’s home in Church Leys

A 15-year-old boy is suspected to be one of three young men who forced their way into an 84-year-old woman’s home in Harlow yesterday (Tuesday, July 28).

The masked men called at the door of the woman’s property in Church Leys before forcing their way inside and removing jewellery and cash.

The men also snatched jewellery from the victim’s wrist. All suspects are described as white, wearing black masks and hooded tops. One of the suspects is believed to be around 15 years of age.

The woman was shaken but not injured in the incident.
