Athletics: Harlow Running Club take over Parkrun

HARLOW Running Club were invited to take over the organisation of the Harlow Parkrun 5K last weekend.
All the race volunteers were members of the club and several members also participated in the run. Daniel Jephcott finished in 3rd place out of 140 finishers in an excellent 19min 34sec. He was followed home by Alex Smith 4th in 20min 33sec, Steve Mackenzie 8th and 1st Vet 50 in 21min 08sec, Robin Lozeau 16th in 23min 06sec, Paul Dixon 17th in 23min 07sec, Peter Ayling 18th in 23min 15sec, Sandi Rust 20th and 1st female in 23min 23sec, Alan Cootes 25th and 1st Vet 60 in 24min 10sec, Catherine Ridge 31st in 24min 37sec, Brendon Maclean 33rd in 24min 53sec, Terry Pike 34th in 24min 54sec, Terry Ridge 35th in 25min 22sec, Graham Saville 37th in 25min 26sec, Richard Smith 43rd in 25min 38sec, Alan Wellbelove 44th in 25min 39sec, Ron Newton 60th in 28min 33sec, Sheila Leach 79th in 31min 01sec, Debbie Cooper 81st in 31min 10sec, Pushpa Mistry 83rd in 31min 18sec and Holly Nairn 129th in 41min 13sec.
Meanwhile at the Hatfield Forest Parkrun 5K Janice Page finished in 42nd place and 1st female Vet 50 in 25min 53sec.
