THE Quireboys are set to rock The Square in Harlow this Saturday night, fresh from playing summer European dates on the Full Metal Cruise in Germany.
The band’s sound harks back to 70s rock bands including The Faces, The Stones and Slade. Formed in 1984 in London, The Quireboys released their eighth studio album, St Cecilia and the Gypsy Soul in March 2015 and are best-known for their 1980s hits ‘Hey You’ and ‘I Don’t Love you Anymore’. On their website, lead singer Spike has said about the band: “The Quireboys is, and always has been, about having a good time and playing rock n roll you can sing and dance to.” The band continue to enjoy European success with future tour dates set for locations throughout Switzerland, Germany and Norway.
They will be supported by power-pop band The Breakdowns and will perform in the Main Room at The Square at 8pm.
