Harlow community comes together to remember the fallen

Harlow MemGuidesTHE HARLOW community came together to pay their respects to those who gave their lives in two world wars and numerous conflicts around the world.

The service was organised by the Harlow branch of the Royal British Legion. Veterans from a number of conflicts were also present.

Dignitaries such as Harlow MP, Robert Halfon, the leader of Harlow Council, cllr Jon Clempner, community leaders, members of the faith groups were joined by hundreds of residents who paid their respects at the Netteswell Cross site.

School groups as well as scouts, guides and cadets were also in a attendance.

A two minute silence was observed.
