Come and support Robinson’s panto entourage

A FAMILY outing to the panto is a traditional part of the Christmas celebrations but for scores of children in Harlow this year’s trip will be one they remember long after the curtain has fallen.

Every year funeral directors Daniel Robinson & Sons, in Wych Elm, organises a convoy of limousines to take a group of youngsters who have had a tough time through illness or bereavement to the show at Harlow Playhouse.

As in previous years, the company has been working with local organisations to identify children who, along with their families, deserve a special Christmas treat.

And once again it is urging residents to line the route and cheer on the convoy as it makes its way through the town en route to the theatre.

This year the convoy, which is the fifth the firm has organised, will take place on Sunday, December 13, leaving from the Latton Bush Centre at approximately 1pm.

The route is as follows:

Leave Latton Bush Centre (Approx 1.00pm) – Left onto Southern Way

Mini roundabout – Straight over

Mini roundabout – Left into Paringdon Road

Mini roundabout – Left into Commonside Road

Continue onto Trotters Road

Roundabout – Left onto Southern Way

Roundabout – Straight over

Roundabout – Right into Tawneys Road

Mini roundabout – Right into Tendring Road

Mini roundabout – Left into Tripton Road

Roundabout – Left into Second Avenue

Roundabout – Straight over on Second Ave (past Asda)

Roundabout Right into Haydens Road

Double back at roundabout past Harvey Centre

Left into Playhouse Square
