Harlow Green Party candidate believes Syria vote is wrong

THE GREEN Party candidate at the General Election in May has gone on the record to assert that the vote to support bombing in Syria was wrong.

Murray Sackwild said: “Bombs may bloody ISIL’S nose but if you are a fanatical death cult anticipating reward in an afterlife for glorious suicide a bloody nose won’t phase you.

“Additionally bombs murder civilians, recruit and radicalise the disillusioned and make attacks and atrocities more likely in the UK.

“The millions wasted dropping murderous bombs would be better spent on combatting disillusion and radicalisation in Britain, supporting democratic institutions in the Middle East, imposing harsh sanctions on states who fund and arm ISIL and those who buy their oil .. and, vitally, getting the Syrian Govt + Syrian Rebels, Turks + Kurds, Russians, Americans + Iranians, as well as Iraqi, Saudi and EU states round a table – reaching long lasting political solutions for the region.

“Learn from Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan – when the West sticks its nose in the Middle East deep shit follows. Bombs are not the answer.
