ROBERT Halfon, MP for Harlow, welcomes the news that the Post Office are modernising their Potter Street branch. Potter Street Post Office is one of 8,000 branches across the country that will see Government investment to modernise the services and experience they provide.
For customers, this will mean:
– A newly refurbished branch providing a modern environment for customers.
– The same products and services with the addition of Car tax and a selection of on-demand foreign currency.
– Two screened serving positions.
– A low level serving counter and a hearing loop.
The Post Office will need to close on Wednesday 10 February 2016 at 17:30 for these refurbishments and will open again on Monday 22 February 2016 at 13:00. If there are any unforeseen schedule changes which would mean these dates need to chance slightly then this will be displayed on posters in the branch window.
If customers need access to a Post Office during this time, there are two other branches close by:
Bush Fair Post Office
1-2 Corner House
Staple Tye Post Office
2-4 Staple Tye Shopping Centre
Robert Halfon MP said, “It is good news that the Post Office are investing in Harlow. This modernisation of the Potter St Post office will mean a better service for local residents and ensures that there will be a proper postal service for many years to come.”
