Blogpost: Commuting to Harlow

By Damola Thompson

In the month of December 2015 c2c have changed the timetable because of the increase of passengers using the service. They have stated that 15% more passngers use the service since 2010.

They have introduced more trains with a spacious seating known as metro trains because only 57% of passengers were satisfied with the space provided on c2c trains. I myself have been pleased to see the introduction of the metro trains because I use c2c trains alot to commute. I find the metro trains provide space for mothers like me who have a pushchair.

c2c has stated that they will provide 1,400 more seats proving more room for the 3000 more passengers that use the service.

They will also be introducing weekend trains going to Liverpool St and Stratford which will be helpful for passengers looking to travel during the weekend.

I asked a commuter what they think of the changes to the new c2c timetable and she said “Its great that more trains will be running especially at the peak times as I used to find the crowding unbareable, espically after a long day of work.”

Another said “I will have to get used the timetable but I am happy to hear that c2c are listening to their customers.”
