LAST Friday, Robert Halfon MP invited Matthew Barzun, the United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom, to Harlow to speak to students from Harlow College and the Sir Charles Kao UTC.

The Ambassador spoke to students and asked them questions about everything from US foreign policy to firearm laws to sending man to the moon. It was an interactive talk and the students used the opportunity to ask him lots of very thoughtful, intelligent and articulate questions.

Robert Halfon said, “It was great to have the Ambassador come to Harlow to see our country leading College, and UTC. The students he spoke with were a credit to the College and the UTC and proved what a bright future Harlow has, having young people like these students as our next generation of leaders.”
