FOLLOWING its successful launch in 2015, when the competition attracted more than 200 entries, the BIG Business Boost returns to Essex with a new series of Awareness Events, coming to Harlow on Wednesday 18th May.
The BIG Business Boost Awareness Event, taking place at the Enterprise Hub in the Kao Hockham Building, is being run to raise awareness of the positive impact the BIG Business Boost competition can have on local businesses.
Last year more than 200 Essex businesses received free business support through the competition, to the tune of thousands of pounds, and 2016 promises to be even bigger.
To help attending business owners to improve their chances in the competition, the event will include an award writing workshop, delivered by a local expert.
The event which is funded by the Essex Innovation Programme through Essex County Council, gives local entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their innovative and exciting business or business idea and compete to win a host of business support and one of five cash prizes.
The competition runs from 1 May until 31 July 2016, with prize values ranging from £25 to thousands of pounds in business support and a cash boost for innovative businesses.
The BIG Business Boost Awareness Event will take place on 18 May from 5pm – 7pm at Enterprise Hub – Kao Hockham Building on Edinburgh Way, Harlow.
