HARLOW MP, Robert Halfon, attended and opened the annual Harlow Business Exhibition with Harlow Council Chair, Cllr Edna Stevens, he said:
Mr Halfon said: “I was very proud to be here today. This is the biggest business exhibition in the East of England. Harlow is clearly open for business. An Experian survey said that Harlow has the highest business growth in the UK and seeing all the businesses and community organisations that were here yesterday, that is not surprising.
The Government is clearly investing in Harlow with millions of pounds being invested in our new Enterprise Zone, £400million going on bringing Public Health England to Harlow, and the millions more pounds being spent to improve our roads.
All this, alongside the success and hard work of Harlow’s amazing small businesses is what is bringing back jobs and prosperity to our town. It explains why unemployment is falling and the number of apprentices are increasing.
I thank all those whose hard work made the Exhibition such a success.”
