THE next exhibition at Parndon Mill, CHAOS THEORY, is of cast glass sculpture by HEIKE BRACHLOW whose studio at Parndon Mill and who exhibits her work internationally.
Chaos theory is the science of surprises. It is about expecting the unexpected. Heike’s work reflects her attraction to movement and transformation, both in colour and form. The pieces are precariously balanced and can be set in various positions. Many change colour when exposed to different light sources.
This is an exciting and important exhibition for us and must not be missed! It opens on Thursday 30th June and the Private View is from 5 – 8. Come and have a glass of wine and meet Heike.
This year our OPEN STUDIOS weekend is 16th and 17th July. Nearly all 30 studios will be open. Magnificent glass, weaving, calligraphy, guitar making, ceramics, jewellery and metalwork along with fine arts will be on view as well as various design skills. There will be demonstrations and opportunities to “have a go”. Refreshments including a barbecue and homemade cakes will be served.
Heike’s exhibition will be open all weekend.
