HARLOW council leader Jon Clempner is not a man to raise his voice or show signs of anger but his metaphorical buttons were definitely being pressed by the Harlow Tories at a recent meeting.

It goes like this: The matter of the local plan, (within which contain certain planning developments around the town) came up.
It should have been just for noting however, combative Conservative councillor Joel Charles took the opportunity to try and secure some guarantees from the council and in particular the portfolio holder, cllr Danny Purton.
