A WOMAN has been found dead in a house near The Stow in Harlow.

Police were alerted on Friday January 6 at around 8.30pm to the death of a woman in her forties at a house in The Mallories, Harlow.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff. It is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

An EEAST spokesperson said: “We received a call on 6th January at 8.29pm to Halling Hill, Harlow, to which we dispatched a rapid response vehicle and two ambulance officers.

“Sadly a woman was pronounced deceased at the scene and our thoughts are with her family at this time.”

“We won’t be commenting any further at this stage”.
