THE resuscitation room at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow has benefited from a refurbishment after fundraising by the Emergency Department and ITU.
Relatives have pounded the streets in the London Marathon. Staff and friends enjoyed a Winter Ball and donations have been gratefully received from the League of Friends and the Freemasons.
Over £7000 was raised last year. Emergency Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Lewis said: “I am really happy we now have designed and fitted storage in the area specifically securing the vital equipment used in the room.
“As it is such a busy and important room the work had to be carefully planned for minimal disruption and after a great deal of planning the work was completed in just over a day”.
