The Party’s Over presents…

28 Apr Theatre 2

…Don’t Worry // Lightcliffe // Ella Brand

Don’t Worry

Harlow New Town’s very own band return for their first hometown show since November last year. They will play their newest EP Bane Of My Lifestyle as well as favourites from older releases, and perhaps even a brand new unreleased song or two. The band have achieved everything they’ve done so far completely DIY. In May they are touring in Europe, playing their first ever shows outside of the UK. Touring DIY is incredibly expensive. So this rare hometown performance will also be a fundraiser for said tour, helping the band to afford to rent a van, and to eat while on the road. It’ll be a while before Don’t Worry plays in Harlow again, so get down to this! Listen: https://dontworry.bandcamp.com/

Don’t Worry’s best mates and tour buddies return to Harlow for what will be their 3rd show in town. One of the best bands coming up in the UK scene right now. With a brand new release imminent, we highly recommend that you don’t miss these guys. You’ll be singing their words for weeks afterwards. A perfect balance of innovation and originality, with catchy pop sensibility. Listen: https://lightcliffe.bandcamp.com/

Ella Brand

Another Harlow based musician. You will not find a better singer songwriter in this area. Ella has been working on new music that’ll be out this year. Her own unique take on modern folk will have your attention as soon as she starts playing. Make sure you get to this show early! Listen: https://soundcloud.com/ellabrandmusic

Since the closure of The Square, The Party’s Over (formerly known as The Hit Cave) has been working very hard to make sure live music stays alive in Harlow. We’ve been putting on more shows than ever before, trying out different spaces, and we are very grateful for the interest and support you have shown. We like the space over at Phoenix Arts a lot and we will no doubt use it again. But for this particular show we wanted to find a venue that’s a little bit bigger and a little bit fancier. We’re very happy to be working with The Playhouse, and if this show goes well, we will look forward to working from this venue again. The show will take place in Theatre 2 on the top floor of the building, which is fully accessible with ramps and elevators.
