Worker suffers serious leg injury at The Stow

ESSEX Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision at an industrial site in The Stow, Harlow, at around 9.40am today, Friday, May 5.

They were contacted by the ambulance service after an on-site worker, aged in his 30s, was struck by a dumper truck.

The man suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

A lot of road works are being undertaken by Morrison Utility Services in The Stow area today.

A man has been injured after he was involved in a collision with a truck on The Stow in Harlow today (Friday, 5th May).

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at 9.32am and dispatched an air ambulance from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAA), a rapid response vehicle, and an ambulance crew to assist.

At the scene medics treated the man, believed to be in his 30s, for an isolated leg injury before taking him to Princess Alexandra Hospital via land ambulance for further care.

He is believed to be in a stable condition.
