1st XI away to Orsett &Thurrock 1st XI

Harlow travelled to Orsett in windy yet sunny conditions. However they found themselves the wrong side of the toss and were put into bat on a green, soft, wet wicket.

Harlow openers showed the way in how to deal with such a wicket by playing cautiously and putting the bad ball away. Reaching 206/6 of there 50 overs. Rehman Ahmed (44), Ahmed Khawaja (60). J Mitchell 3/36.

Orsetts batsmen went about there batting in the same fashion. However Harlows bowling was a lot tighter. With the presure on the home side to catch up with the game they lost wickets at regular intervals. Leaving them on 177/9, drawing the game. Nick Baxter 4/36, Mitchell Howarde 3/50.

Man of the match goes to Nick Baxter for his 4/36 of 12 overs.

Consecutive draws for Harlow leaves them 4th in the league.

2nd XI Home to Hutton 2nd XI

Harlow won the toss and opted to field. It was a good decision and kept Hutton for just 103/9 from 37 overs in a rain affected game. Pick of the bowling was Danny Stone with figures of 11 overs 1 maiden 5/33. Also 2 wickets for captain Lewis Aldred. In reply Harlow scored 105/4 with Luke Heskett scoring 31 not out to win with ease.

3rd XI Home to Woodford Wells 3rd XI

Woodford Wells had scored 143/5 before rain came and the game had to be abandoned due to the pitch condition.

4th XI away to Orsett & Thurrock 3rd XI

Orsett and Thurrock batted first and was bowled out for just 98 runs in 46.3 overs with Jake Hitematshah taking 4/30. In reply Harlow scored 101/8.

Harlow 5th XI away to Hockerill 3rd XI

Batting first Hockerill scored 166/3 with Captain Jack Sykes taking 2/22. In reply Harlow scored 167/2 with Captain Jack scoring 75 and supported by Andy Yeats with 59 not out.
