UKIP 2

FOR THE first time since May 2014, not a single UKIP councillor was present at a recent Harlow council meeting.

In May, 2014, there were five Ukip councillors elected to the chamber.

But in the last year, they have been reduced to two.

But in one of the key meetings of the year, neither cllr Bill Prior or Dan Long were able to attend due to both being ill.

UKIP’s vote has declined considerably in elections in 2017.

Both cllr Bill Prior and Dan Long are up for re-election next May.
