Harlow man airlifted to hospital after suffering heart attack in Potter Street

Statement from East of England Air Ambulance Service.

WE were called at 1.05pm today to Potter Street, Harlow, to a report of a man in his 50s with chest pain.

An ambulance crew attended in eight minutes. However, the patient deteriorated and went into cardiac arrest.

A second ambulance crew and East Anglian Air Ambulance were dispatched. Following treatment, they resuscitated the patient who was taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital by land ambulance for further care.

Helicopter Nicholls

1345 hrs

AN EAST Anglian air ambulance has landed on Nicholls Field.

Two paramedics alighted from the helicopter and walked in the direction of Carters Mead.
