Harlow parkrun set to celebrate third birthday

THE Harlow parkrun is set to celebrate its third birthday.
There have been 160 5k (3.1 miles) runs around the town park since November 2014.
Since its beginnings, the run has seen as many as 250 participants wind their way through the lovely but challenging course.
Much of the success of the parkrun is down to the organising team and the volunteers who undertake a number of marshalling duties.
The parkrun has a lovely spirit to it and is not a race but more a challenge to yourself. You get round at a pace that suits yourself.
So, if you have been there from the start then well done but if you are reading this and fancy a go, then go on, please do.

Over the past three years, we have popped down a few times to the park run and filmed a few of the runners.
