Remembrance Service in Harlow pays tribute to those who served their country

THE PEOPLE of Harlow came together on Sunday morning at Harlow Town Park to pay their respects to all who had served their country.
A procession mustered close to Burnt Mill Academy before walking down School Lane to the Netteswell Cross where hundreds of residents as well as civic leaders had gathered.
Harlow MP Robert Halfon was in attendance as well as the chair of Harlow Council, cllr Sue Livings as well as other members of political parties.
Essex Police were also very well represented with Chief Inspector Matt Cornish laying a wreath.
The ceremony was led by Heart4Harlow’s Rev Robert Findlay. Harlow councillor, Ian Beckett gave a reading.
Later on, there were events at the British Legion on Latton Common and later at the Harlow Playhouse.
