GYMNASTS coming back from injury displayed an excellent return to previous form by winning medals and ribbons for Harlow Gymnastics Club at the DGA Tigerlily Invitational in Colchester. Fawbert & Barnard’s Primary pupil, Amelia Palmer (9) won the silver medal on beam, received 4th place ribbons for bars and floor and finished in an outstanding 3rd place overall in the 2008 level competition.

Teammate Ruby Baker (9) was awarded silver medal on bars and 6th place ribbon for vault to finish in a commendable 5th place overall.

Further success for the Sumners based club at the County Team Levels Competition in Colchester. Teams from top flight clubs from all over Essex competed at the event where the format is 5-4-3, meaning that there are five gymnasts on each team, four compete on each event, and the top three scores count.

The HGC team comprising Miley Shulton (9), Summer Dolan (9), Millie Lynch (9), Selene Virga (9), Kacey Butler (11) and reserve Megan Spencer (11) accomplished the 4th place rosette. Notable performances on vault for Passmores student Kacey Butler, and Miley Shulton who placed 4th & 5th respectively and for Millie Lynch who placed 6th on floor.
