FarmFest 5

HERTS & Essex Community Farm will be hosting a free, family-friendly Christmas event at the Fold Croft site on Saturday 16th December from 12 – 2pm.

There will be a free grotto where Mother Christmas and her elves will be giving presents out to all children who can also be entertained by festive themed games and facepainting.

Harlow’s U3A choir will be singing an array of traditional carols around 1pm for all to join in with.
Mince pies, cakes, warm festive drinks and tea, coffee and hot chocolate will all be available from the farm kitchen.

In honour of Harlow’s 70th Birthday we will be showcasing a photo gallery courtesy of Photos of Harlow old and new, showing the town throughout the ages.

Remember to dress warm and wear wellies as our site becomes very muddy in the winter months and the forecast is for a chilly day.

We are very excited to be hosting our first ever Christmas event which we have decided to put on following our popular Halloween event where many of our visitors asked if we would do something for Christmas. We are happy to be part of our thriving town and want to give back to the community in which we live.

We know that Christmas can be a difficult time for many for a wide range of reasons, and we want to bring the community together in a free mini event which celebrates our town and the festive spirit.
