Access to emergency accomodation for homeless in Harlow to continue

EMERGENCY accommodation for people sleeping rough in Harlow has been extended for another two nights.

Harlow Council is working with Streets2Homes to provide accommodation during the severe weather for anyone sleeping rough in the town.

Emergency provision has been provided since Friday night (8 December 2017). This will be reviewed again on Wednesday morning (13 December 2017).

Anyone concerned about someone sleeping rough in Harlow can connect them to local services via StreetLink at https://streetlink.force.com

The Council’s severe weather emergency protocol is activated where night time temperatures are forecasted to drop under 0 degrees Celsius or below for three nights or more. The emergency provision is funded by the Council with Street2homes coordinating the accommodation.
