ON top of the Government’s £2 billion investment in adult social care, £100 million for hospital A&Es and £337 million to give extra support to hospitals through the winter months, Jeremy Hunt has announced additional measures to invest in our NHS this winter says Harlow MP, Robert Halfon.

These include: an extension of the flu vaccination programme, extended access to GP appointments, improved hospital flow and bed capacity, and the formation of a new National Emergency Pressures Panel.

Robert Halfon said,

“Though there is still more to do, I am pleased with the progress that is being made. There are now 62 more hospital doctors and 29 more nurses in Princess Alexandra Hospital than there were in 2010.

The West Essex NHS received £382.6 million In 2017/18, a cash increase of 2.96% on the previous year. In 2018/19, they will receive £393.9 million – another cash increase of 2.95%.

I have also been running a campaign to abolish hospital car parking charges and recently passed the first stage of my Bill in parliament to achieve this. In the New Year, I will keep working hard on my campaign to deliver Harlow a new hospital that is fit for the 21st Century.”

I wonder if this was anything to do with the British Medical Journal saying that 120,000 premature deaths in the UK since 2010 were linked directly to Tory austerity policies?...

More twaddle and misquotes. Tory's are responsible for killing people ? I certainly think not. Most are self inflicted deaths, what about the bombings and other incidents ? Obviously, as usual, lefty biased distortions of the actual truth. Vote LABOUR at your PERIL.

Oh yeah!, I had forgotten about the bombings and other incidents. Happy Christmas!
