Welcome Alfie: The first baby born at Princess Alexandra in 2018

THE first baby born at Princess Alexandra Hospital was Alfie Ernest Neave.
Alfie was born at just nine minutes past midnight on New Years Day. He weighed in at a healthy 7lbs and 11 ounces.
Mum Laura from Potters Field has told us that Alfie is doing very well.
There were ten babies born at the PAH on New Years Day. Three of them form Harlow
2018 marks the seventieth anniversary of the NHS.
All the babies were clearly in good hands as the maternity department was rated Outstanding when inspected by the Care Quality Commission.
