RESIDENTS of Fir Park in Harlow attended a planning meeting at Harlow Council to express their concerns over the future of a former women’s refuge.
Plans had been tabled to change it from a womens refuge to a “mother and baby assessment centre”.
A number of local residents spoke at the meeting citing previous problems coming from the address in the quiet cul-de-sac near Kingsmoor Road.
Residents who attended the meeting cited a nunmber of incidents including when “a woman was bundled into a van”.
The planning application was successful.
A 25-minute film of the application is below.
