After an excellent defensive and tactical display, a fine angled shot from Passmores’ right winger Gracie was athletically saved by the outstanding Baddow keeper, but sharp reflexes from left winger, Rosie, secured the game’s only goal.

Although Baddow piled on the pressure in the second half, Passmores’ team spirit shone through, allowing them to win the game. This latest victory is particularly significant as it not only means Passmores has progressed to the Final for the first time, but spells the end of Baddow’s unbeaten record against Passmores. This is the second of two new scalps for the team en route to the showpiece occasion.

Passmores coach, Rebecca Conway was thrilled at the result and said after the match, ‘I’m extremely proud and cannot fault the girls’ eagerness to learn and desire to win. Mindset plays a massive role; they were really confident before the game – probably more confident than me which is saying something!’
