Church Langley residents angry at plans for Premier Inn

DOZENS of Church Langley residents have lodged their objections to plans for a Premier Inn hotel.
If approved, residents would see the erection of three storey hotel adjacent to the site of the Potters Arms public house and close to Church Langley Primary.
By Monday morning, there had been 79 objections to the planning application.

It is next to a school.

Questioning commercial benefit to Church Langley
Church Langley councillor, Simon Carter said: “I am broadly supportive of the application. It appears the applicants have listened to previous concerns. The area will need a hotel as Kao Park grows but I also appreciate resident’s concerns”.
A date has yet to be set for the application to be heard.

What with the school boy standing for a council seat, and now, a Premier Inn too, the place is going to the dogs.
To hell with the Premier Inn concept. Get the roads sorted out first.
