Judo: Harlow at the Moberly Rumble

Moberly Red & Yellow Belt Rumble
Moberly Judo Club, London NW10, was this week’s venue for the young Harlow Judo Squad. This event attracts the best clubs in London, Hertfordshire and Essex and Harlow Judo Club did not fail to medal here.
The team, mentored by Owen Lambert (12), consisted of Millie Morgan (9), Izzie Germaine (11), Eli Balski (8), Ramy Mamouri (10), George Franks (11), Fionn Healy (12), Harry Franks (10), Thomas Norman (11) and Sorin Petrica (12) and they did not fail to achieve by returning victorious with a superb medal haul of 5 Golds, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals for the young Harlow players.
Gold medals went to Eli, Millie, George, Thomas and Izzie Germaine, a Silver medal went to Sorin and Bronze medals to Ramy, Harry and Fionn.
With an imminent grading for all of them, they will have to enjoy their current winning streak as most of the players will all move up to their next respective grade and the next level of competition.
Coach Mick Ellis said of his young squad “I am extremely proud of my next group of young red/yellow belt competitors – they are improving greatly at each event and should all be very proud of themselves”.
