THE ENGLAND Netball team are making smooth progress through the Pool stages of the Commonwealth Games.

The team includes Harlow’s Jo Harten.

England dispatched a competitive Malawi 74-49, with Harten putting in an impressive performance.

But things were a bit clise against Uganda with England only winning by a margin of 55-49.

Former Commonwealth Games Bronze medalist from 1998, Lyn Carpenter said: “It is all going as expected for England. Things were a bit messy against Malawi.

“Uganda re a team to be watch and so a close match was not that much of a surprise.

“Jo Harten is playing well as very much expected”.
