A message to councillors and candidates

WE have asked all councillors and canddiates to refrain from making anonymous statements on the comments section of our website.

They are still free to comment but we request that they preface the comment with their name and the ward in which they are standing.

Could that be extended to all posters during the election period. Activists are not necessarily candidates! Mark Gough, UKIP Staple Tye.

Yeah that doesn't seem like a bad suggestion from Mark, I just feel its more important that the ward candidates are open in stating who they are. If we all keep it up then hopefully activists will follow suit. Jake Shepherd, Labour, Church Langley

I have just seen this post and apologise for continuing to comment without stating my name ect... Mark has a point there and agree with Mark 100%. Chris Ward UKIP Toddbrooks

This is fine by me as long as any activists do the same thing. You can't have one rule for one and not the other. Anita Long Harlow Common Candidate.
