News / Sun 29th Apr 2018 at 01:08pm

THE PRINCESS Alexandra Hospital Charity does a lot of great work to raise funds for the hospital.

They have had a lot of events, so we asked a spokesperson to sum it up.

A spokesperson said:”We had a golf day at Canons Brook Golf Club with 50 players playing to raise money for bed chairs for parents of patients that are not well.

“We raised £1300 on the day with pledges made by two people of £2,000. The beds cost £1300 each and they require 16 so far we have provided four still a long way to go.

On Saturday the 28th April 2018 Harlow Town Football Club held a bucket collection and a penalty shootout for Dolphin Ward to help with beds / chairs.

“We have a curry & quiz night on 30th April which has sold out again for Dolphin Ward.

“We are also supporting a Bingo night at the Greyhound pub with Harlow Young Labour in aid of the Gibberd Ward Garden on 11th May”.
