Joel Charles

Dear Sir,

MAY I take this opportunity to thank the residents of Old Harlow for returning me as their representative on Harlow District Council. It is a privilege to be re-elected for a second term. I will continue to listen and respond to the concerns of all Old Harlow residents.

Affordable housing, protecting green spaces from over-development and keeping Old London Road open came up consistently on the doorstep as some of the most important priorities. I promise to focus on these issues and campaign to secure funding for a new Harlow hospital to ensure residents are always able to access good quality health and care services.

Old Harlow is one of the most special corners of the town. I look forward to working hard for residents and making sure our local community has a better future ahead.

Thank you once again for the support.

Yours faithfully,

Cllr Joel Charles
Old Harlow Ward (Con)

Wanting to ensure people that have access to healthcare yet being in a party whose MPs (an inordinate amount of whom of course have interests in private healthcare firms) voted for the Health and Social Care Act 2012 which opened the NHS up to more privatisation and chaos. Pull the other one, Joel.

More dross and gloom from y k w. Personally blaming every local (tory) councillor for every problem that he can think of. Sad loser. Joel Charles is a brilliant councillor, and is on the path to Westminster.

Waiting times are at their highest level ever, a glitch in the NHS computer system probably led to the deaths of over 100 women, people are dying in hospital corridors, people are being turned off joining the profession by stories of overworking and cuts, a pay freeze for the last eight years for NHS staff... and on and on and on. Don't expect me not to point out the failures inflicted by this Tory government on our most treasured institution, Micky. If you're happy with this, that's up to you.

Same old yarn. I'll ask again, who left the country almost broke ? Blair, Brown and the rest of them. Milliband buzzes off to America to work for a charity, on half a million a year. Proper socialist. Hypocrites the lot of them.

Check your history. City bankers broke the economy in 2008. The same rampant capitalists who support the Tory Party at every turn, funnily enough. I'm not David Miliband.
