MUCH-respected Labour councillor, Maggie Hulcoop has bee elected the chair of Harlow Council.
This will be the Harlow Common councillor’s second stint as she was chair in 2012.
Conservative councillor Clive Souter was elected vice-chair.
Our film below shows outgoing chair, cllr Sue Livings make her final address and then cllrs’ Hulcoop and Souter take their chains of office.
A richly deserved honour for an outstanding local campaigner and councillor.
Maggie is a caring councillor and much respected from both sides of the chamber. I wish her the very best for her year of office. Cllr Andrew Johnson Leader of Harlow Conservatives
