HEALTH bosses have told YH that all the patients “made homeless” after Osler House surgery in Potter Street closed have found new surgeries.
A spokesperson for the West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said: “The Primary Care Team can confirm that all patients are now registered at another practice of their choice or by the allocation process to a new surgery that took place before Osler House closed on 30 April 2018. All of the receiving practices have welcomed the new patients onto their lists.
“To ensure that these patients are happy with their new practice the CCG has asked the practices to survey the patients previously registered at Osler House on their satisfaction later on in the year once they have had a chance to settle in.
“The area is well served by a number of practices with open lists and should any patient wish to move at any time, they have the freedom to move their registration to another practice within the relevant catchment area”.
So much for the momentum nay sayers. All patients re-allocated and happy with the new arrangements.
