Parndon Wood and Town Park have done it again!

PARNDON Wood Nature Reserve and Harlow Town Park have both retained Green Flag status, which places them among some of the world’s best-kept open spaces.

Although Council officers do work across both sites, the Council says it’s really down to the fantastic teams of volunteers who turn up, rain or shine, that Parndon Wood has won its 10th consecutive Green Flag and the Town Park has won its third in a row.

In the Green Flag scheme’s 22nd year, a record-breaking 1,883 Green Flags have been awarded to green spaces large and small across the UK, almost 100 more than in 2017.
