ESSEX Police has requested that the owners of a horse pick it up from the Canons Brook Golf Course where it is trotting down the fairways.

The cops have attempted to catch it but are clearly having a bit of a mare.

The horse is presently on the ninth hole and at present is prevention any chances of birdies, eagles and the odd albatross.
