Charity / Wed 19th Sep 2018 pm30 01:47pm

ON 1st September 2018 St Clare Hospice officially re-launched the St Clare Business Club. The Business Club is a key part of the organisation’s corporate partnership strategy and offers businesses real, tangible benefits, as well as providing key support for the hospice charity.

Local businesses can join the Club for as little as £250 per year for Bronze membership, with more than 30 businesses currently registered members. Joining the exclusive club is incredibly easy, with members able to make a one-off donation, or simply sign-up for a monthly donation of just £21 per month.

St Clare Hospice’s Corporate Partnerships Manager, Amy Jacobs, said: “Over the past decade we have seen a national movement in businesses away from philanthropy and non-strategic donations, to developing long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with charities. The newly re-launched St Clare Hospice Business Club is our local response to this change in direction and offers businesses a new way of partnership working.”

“The Business Club offers its members the chance to step up their responsible business agenda and really support the growth and strategic development of a vital community service that will affect many of their employees. The Business Club is not just about doing good, however, and offers real tangible business benefits. St Clare Hospice is ready to do business.”

Current members of the St Clare Hospice Business Club include Platinum members Weston Homes and Daniel Robinson, who have donated over £10,000 in the past year, and Gold members: Alloy Fabweld, HTS Group, Stortford Tiling, LPL Construction and Wright & Co who have donated over £5,000. Silver membership is open to those who donate over £1,000 in a year, and Bronze membership for those who donate at least £250.

The Business Club entitles members to a host of marketing and other benefits depending on their stream, as well as quarterly breakfast networking events to be held at the Hospice. The next breakfast networking event will be held on 11th December 2018 at the Hospice in Hastingwood with guest speaker, St Clare Patron, Dame Claire Bertschinger DBE DL.
