Bishops Stortford Red Belt Rumble – Bishops Stortford

MILLIE Morgan (9), was Harlow Judo Club’s sole representative at the Bishops Stortford Red Belt Rumble competition. Bouncing back from a recent tough Area competition, Millie outclassed her opposition in her weight category and pool with two quick fire wins.

Her first win was via a counter throw score followed by a hold down after her opponent attempted an unsuccessful foot sweep (de-ashi barai). Her second win was straight from the beginning of the contest with an Ippon throw in under 3 seconds which enabled her to claim the Gold medal and a much needed confidence boost.
