ATTEMPTS to mend a gas leak on Edinburgh Way in Harlow have entered their third day.

The leak at the Esso Garage off Edinburgh Place has caused traffic chaos over the last few days.

A spokesperson for Cadent Gas said: “We are currently working to repair a damaged gas main in Edinburgh Way, Harlow, which was danged by a third party.

Our engineers are doing all they can to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

“Edinburgh Way remains closed in both directions.
