Female motorcyclist left with “suspected life-changing injuries” after collision near The Stow

Update: Statement from Essex Police
“We were called to reports of a collision involving blue Honda motorcycle and a green Vauxhall Astra on First Avenue in Harlow, shortly after 7.30am this morning, Wednesday, October 3.
Officers and paramedics attended and the motorcyclist, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital with suspected life-changing injuries.
No arrests have been made.
Witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident are asked to contact Chigwell Road Policing Unit on 101, quoting incident 178 of October 3.
0930 hrs
First Avenue is clear.
A moped with learner plates has been placed on a tow truck.
One vehicle with damage at side of road.
Police still in attendance.
Emergency services have been contacted for a statement.
0900 hrs
YH has received a report of the road closed near The Stow.
Unconfirmed report that First Avenue closed from Aldi towards Mark Hall.
Emergency services are said to be in attendance.
