ESSEX Police will take no further action against a man who overturned his car and then refused to take a breath test.
The police were called to Braggowens Ley, Newhall, Harlow, just before 8.35pm on August 14th.
A collision had been reported and a car had overturned as a result.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving without insurance and failure to provide a breath test.
At the time, Essex Police told YH that “No injuries were reported”.
YH has now learned that no further action will be taken against the 31-year-old man. Essex Police told us that there were injuries, he was conveyed to hospital and consented to a blood test there. That was negative and he had insurance.
Sources close to YH have indicated that this was a “road rage” incident stemming from a dispute regarding dogs.
