HARLOW Running Club members competed at the the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Winter 10K on Saturday. Andy Kitson finished in 41st place out of 433 finishers in 44.19. He was followed by Gail Nicholls 110th and 1st Female Vet 50 in 51.06, Janice Page 159th and 2nd Female Vet 50 in 54.44, David Page 175th in 56.19, Jane Evans 188th and 3rd Female Vet 50 in 56.57, Lindsey Pearson 319th in 1.06.07, Helen Barrell 358th in 1.09.43 and Karen Kitson 428th in 1.29.34.

Meanwhile at the Halloween 10K, also at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Paul Schroder finished in 51st place out of 353 finishers in a PB time of 44.12.

At the Stevenage Half Marathon Sean Flynn finished in 157th place out of 457 finishers and 2nd Vet 60 in 1.47.17.

At Harlow parkrun Martin Westley was 1st finisher out of 220 finishers in 18.50. At Hackney Marshes parkrun Rob Lowe finished in 3rd place out of 293 finishers in 17.01, Martyn Coulter was 18th in 19.02, Ben Usher 22nd in 19.11 (PB), Lee Webber 28th in 19.25 (PB), Sharon Wright 38th in 19.43, Adrian Fell 62nd in 20.49 and Martin Elven 84th in 21.47 (PB).

At the Gunpowder parkrun in Waltham Abbey Jon Waight finished in 16th place out of 223 finishers in 21.19 and Ayshea Pite was 62nd in 25.43.

At South Woodham Ferrers parkrun Mark Hayward finished in 10th place out of 114 finishers in 22.31.

At Bishop’s Stortford parkrun Justin Patten finished in 88th place out of 345 finishers in 24.04, Holly Davis was 116th in 25.12 (PB), Terasa Holden 308th in 34.53 and Helen Brunton 345th in 1.02.56.

At East Grinstead parkrun Alan Wellbelove finished in 84th place out of 132 finishers in 30.24.

At Clare Castle parkrun, in Suffolk, Teresa Stickland finished in 72nd place out of 104 finishers in 32.33 and Brenda Clayton was 74th in 32.35.
