ON Saturday, 10th November , two students from Harlow Jiu Jitsu, along with Sensei Dave Rintoul, attended a small course and competition held in Dronfield , near Sheffield., run by EMJJA Okami Jiu Jitsu.
Luke Shipwright took gold in Continuous fighting and Layla Stevens took gold, also in Continuous fighting.
Sensei Dave went along as a spectator, but ended up teaching on the course, when an instructor was unwell. He also judged and refereed.
Lacey Jay Mace was due to take part, but had to pull out at the last minute ,due to family illness.
Needless to say, she was very disappointed.
Sensei Dave would like to thank all who took part.
